Okay, Here's the Deal.

The film & TV world can be hard to break into! You want to be on TV...you need an audition...but you can't get an audition without an agent...but it's hard to get an agent without demo footage and resume credits...but you can't get demo footage and resume credits without being on TV. Round and round you go. To top it all off, the information and websites that will actually lead to a legitimate TAMAC agency is hard to find! It seems to be overshadowed by scams and illegitimate agencies that lead aspiring actors astray.

At Hamont Acting Studio we stop that cycle by creating legitimate festival-recognized short films for our students to shine in. They can add credits to their resumes and IMDb pages, get demo footage and finally land that agent! All while learning skills that will help them on professional sets. Our demo reel short films are written by professional screenwriters just for our actors. Some actors have no footage and need a role to showcase their most "bookable" archetype, some actors feel they're stuck in an archetype and want to showcase something different. No matter what the need is, we will find a way to capture what YOU need to promote yourself best.

We also coach our actors in separate classes so that they can put their best work forward in our short films and in their professional careers. Here is how we work:

Our approach incorporates mindfulness, empathy, awareness, and vulnerability in order to truthfully connect with each character. BUT in a way that is safe and easily distanced from the actors own experiences. We also value and instill industry etiquette and technicalities of acting in film & TV right off the bat so that it comes second nature on "the day".

At the end of the day each actor has their own process. We are here to provide insight, support, and knowledge to help them organically find and hone theirs, while maintaining enough versatility to work well alongside other creative minds.

Audition & Self Tape Coaching

We'll work together to ensure that you deliver your best performance, and leave a lasting impression on casting directors and agents alike.
