This intensive class will focus on an introduction to the world of Dialects starting with General American for film and television as well as an introduction into British RP. Class will revolve around a learned understanding of the International Phonetic Alphabet and how it applies to the work of dialects. Jim Watson's Credits Include: Transplant (NBC/CTV), The Strain (FX), Hell Motel (Shudder). *PLEASE NOTE: This is a mixed class of Teens (15+) and Adults. *PREREQUISITE: The Actor’s Path 2 OR Written approval from the studio. Cancellation Policy
We're excited to have you join us for an extended journey in training, growth and creativity here at Hamont Acting Studio. This policy for all multi-week classes is in place to respect the planning, preparation, and limited spots involved in our classes: -Cancellations made 30 days or more before the first class are eligible for a full refund. -Cancellations made between 29 and 15 days before the start date are eligible for a 50% refund. -Cancellations made less than 15 days before the start date (including the day of) are non-refundable. Once the class begins, no credits, transfers, or refunds will be issued. We appreciate your understanding and commitment, looking forward to seeing you in class soon.
